Domann & Pittman is committed to giving back to the community and to helping those less fortunate.  In particular the company is committed to helping underprivileged kids.

For a week in July, NFL former and current players come together in Colorado Springs to coach a youth football camp benefiting more than 200 kids ages 7-14.  The Pro Football Camp, founded by Craig and Teddi Domann, Darlene Warmouth and Rich Griffith, uniquely features 12 to 15 current and former NFL athletes coaching the kids every day.

This year the NFL athletes included Brandon Jones, WR, Tennessee Titans; Ryan Lilja, OL, Indianapolis Colts; Eric Ghiaciuc, C, Cincinnati Bengals; Eric Green, CB, Arizona Cardinals; Mike Lehan, CB, Miami Dolphins; Duke Preston, C, Buffalo Bills; Victor Adeyanju, DE, St. Louis Rams; Alfonso Boone, DT, Kansas City Chiefs; Eric Warfield formerly a Kansas City Chief; as well as the three retired players Leo Goeas, Baltimore Ravens; Rich Griffith, Jacksonville Jaguars; and Brock Gutierrez, Detroit Lions.   The athletes who participate love kids and love giving them an experience that they will never forget!

Consistent with Domann & Pittman’s philosophy of giving back, the Pro Football Camp also gives back to the community with scholarship for underprivileged kids.  During camp week, the athletes host several events to help raise funds for scholarships and a Toy and Sports Equipment Drive, all benefiting needy kids.

The week’s festivities were kicked off with a charity golf tournament at Flying Horse Golf and Retreat Center that placed one athlete with each foursome. A silent auction raised money for Hope and Home, a local foster care and child placement agency, as well as scholarships for the Pro Football Camp. The Colorado Springs community was invited to meet the pros at Bigg City Family Fun Center for our 2nd Annual Toy Drive that received more than 580 toys for the kids of Hope & Home. This family event was fun for all as they were able to meet the NFL athletes, get autographs and pictures with the athletes, win signed NFL memorabilia and play games with the pros.  Finally, Indigo Joe’s Sports Restaurant hosted “Meet the Pros and Indigo Joe’s” and raised money for scholarships for needy kids.  From the monies raised from these events, more than 110 kids have been honored with scholarships to attend the Pro Football Camp in just two years.

During the four-day camp, the campers were taught football drills, speed and agility skills, and character building traits by the pros. Participants were able to spend some one-on-one time with the athletes and had the chance to have “Off the Field” talks with the pros about their journey into the NFL and the character qualities that helped them get to where they are now.

The Pro Football Camp has been a great success and the athletes have had such a great time that they are looking forward to next year’s camp. Giving back to the community is foundational to D&P and their clients.  In our pursuit of excellence, we want to lead balanced lives and always give back to the communities where we live.
